Difficult to leash train

Poodles are also very difficult to train with a leash. This can be easily resolved, however, by beginning the training process as early as possible to ensure that it will be able to get used to the dog collar from a very young age. After one year of age, however, expect that the poodle has already developed a natural aversion against collars, and this will become a problem when leading the dog out for a walk.
